<This is just a post about Tedni training his innate powers, I guess I'd like it to count for xp, if thats ok...>
Tedni floated in the middle of a vast ocean, in fact, it was so vast, there was hardly and land.
He spun, looking all around, the area he was in was filled with seemingly bottomless chasms and high-rising undersea cliffs, many colored fish swum by, dancing through the water graceful and carefree, starfish clung to the sea-floor, jellyfish bobbed by, even the odd mer person swam by.
"It's..." he said to himself, gazing around yet again "Just like home...", it was true, Tedni's home world was covered in one massive ocean, there was no land above the sea at all... as such, all people from his world were very in-tune with the water, and their lungs' had the capability to convert any oxygen dissolved into the water, into pure oxygen, giving them the ability to breathe water. According to Tedni it's much healthier.
He glanced down, a large clear crater had been embedded into the landscape, he let his body fall through the clear water, his hair and clothes rippling slightly, he landed in the center of the crater, and reached to his side, there, tied around his waistband, hung Omiki Hitoshizuku, the sacred waters of his people.
He held the bottle out in front of him, he reached forward and unplugged the bottle, the waters immediately flowed out, managing to stay separate from the surrounding water... for now.
Tedni waved his hand, the water fully emerged from the bottle, and swum around him, almost playfully, "OK" he said, closing his eyes and returning the bottle to it's previous location by his side.
He lifted his palm, pointing it toward the surface, after a few seconds the water swirled up to hover in a ball shape just above his palm, he concentrated, the water beginning to sparkle with renewed vitality, an air of seriousness filled the area, his brow furrowed for a brief moment before his eyes snapped open, at this exact moment, he shouted the word "Merge!", the water that had previously been hovering above his palm shimmer for a moment... then split apart, merging with the surrounding ocean of water.
Tedni closed his eyes again ~Show me~ he thought ~Show me your power.~ He could feel it, he could feel his mind expanding, his sight spreading, his soul flying free.
He opened his eyes.
He could feel it, the never ending pulse, the ultimate life force. He could feel... the soul of the ocean. He could sense the movements in the water, he could hear the voices of distant people, he could tell exactly where the angel fish had gathered, where the whales lay to die, where the sharks prowl and scour the ocean, he could feel it all.
He took a breath.
It all came rushing back to him, his senses returning to the confines of his mind, he could no longer hear the voices, nor sense the movements, Omiki Hitoshizuku reformed and returned to it's bottle, he let out a sigh as he was once again engulfed by the peaceful aura of the ocean, "That was good, for now, I can't hold it long, but it's definitely improving", he lowered his arms, and again looked to the surface, "I'm so glad this world still exists... at least, for now...", he sighed, he knew he'd have to accept the truth some time "If they managed to devour my world, whats to stop the heartless from coming here... and destroying this world too..."
